Marie, a lead community counselor with 17 years of experience is offering hands-on support to host families during the entire au pair matching process and beyond.

Marie has worked since 1994 in the trenches for one of the largest au pair agencies in the USA.  She has been actively involved, and made it her day-to-day business, to help host families through the au pair matching process, including providing post arrival support.  She has talked the talk and walked the walk.  Marie’s primary goal has always been to create “ successful au pair matches - one family at the time”.

Marie has been always hands-on with pre-selecting au pairs; conducting phone interviews with prospective au pairs;  checking with au pairs’ home country references, preparing au pairs  for their au pair experience and, more importantly, preparing the au pair for her future host family. 
Another main focus has always been to provide training and direction/directives to host families for a good or great working relationship with their au pair. 

Her active involvement in the selection and matching process has resulted in creating many good, great or outstanding matches.  An average of 80 – 90% successful matches is nothing to sneeze at.
