Childcare experience: I would like to tell you more about my experience with children. Since I was a child I already loved to organize games for the smaller children and since we lived in a village with a lot of kidsthey were always around me.

I think I have a lot of experiences with taking care of children. Firstly because of my little brother, Sebastian. I have helped to care for him since he was born. I’ve learned for example how to change a nappy and how to bath little children. I try to help my mother as much as possible. I also help her with the household (cleaning, dish-washing, ironing, washing). It is such a great experience for me and it prepares me for the future! Secondly there’s my other brother Lukas. Even though we fight sometimes, I love him and I’ve also taken care of him when he was younger. I can‘t image life without having any siblings.

Furthermore I did babysitting at many different families. I just named those ones that were in the recent past (three years ago). Mostly I’ve taken care of them, while the parents were away. We did a lot of fun things together. We played games, went outside, dressed up funny, painted and I really enjoyed to create new games for them. Sometimes I also brought the children to bed or made some lunch for them.

I’ve also been on a tennis camp, where I taught little children how to play tennis. Me and the other camp-leaders organized the trip and made a program full of games for the kids.

About myself:
My name is Lucie, I’m eighteen years old and I was born in the Czech Republic. I lived in the main city Prague together with my parents and my two younger brothers.
Lukas, my older brother is fourteen. My younger brother Sebastian is nineteen months old and he is the sweetheart of our family. We all do love him very much as he connected our family even more. I have a very loving relationship to my family. We spend a lot of time together by making journeys, playing games or just relaxing.
In my free time I like to meet friends, play tennis, read, visit the movies or listen to music. I also like to be creative and to sing. I enjoy skiing and snowboarding in winter and I play volleyball, tennis and swim in the summer.
I would describe myself as a friendly, warm-hearted and openminded person. I do aclimatize to new situations and environments fast and I’m open to new things. Because I’m a family-oriented type, my family and my friends do mean a lot to me. I do not like disputes and impoliteness, but prefer being friendly and harmonious. I love to meet new people from all around the world and I love to discover new cultures and ways of life.
I think I‘m able to be a good Au-Pair, because I've always been loving children and I had the chance to gain experiences with children in lots of different scopes..I like to play games with the kids, go  outside, dress up funny, paint and I really enjoy to create new activities for them.
I would say that I’m a reliable, patient and trustworthy person and!I always try to give my best, which I think is very important for an aupair!
For me becoming an aupair is the perfect way to connect my love to take care of children, the posibility to practise my language skills and to get to know a new culture .
I hope that during my year as an aupiar I will learn a lot and that I will develop. I want to become more independent and I want to see new places, meet new people and get to know about other cultures as much as possible. I hope that you as my possible host family will help me to reach these intentions. I would love to become a member of your family and spend a great year with you.
